League draft

Draft night, without the spreadsheet.

Tryouts, coach evaluations, a printed evaluation sheet for every division, and a live draft that every coach can follow — from sign-ups to finished rosters in one app.

DiamondKeeper big-screen draft board: the team on the clock, a pick timer, each team's picks so far and the best players still available

The big-screen board — put it on a TV or laptop so the whole room can follow. (Sample league and made-up players.)

The whole season start, in order

The app walks your league through it step by step — each step gets a check mark when it's done.

1

Teams

Add teams once for every division — Reds in Farm, AA, AAA and Majors in one go — and pick each team's coach.

2

Player pool

Paste your sign-up list. Name, age, school and notes come right in, by division.

3

Tryouts

Check kids in and hand out tryout numbers at the field.

4

Evaluate

Coaches score each kid 1–5 in your league's categories, right on their phones.

5

Draft

One draft per division. Snake order, pick clock, live on every phone.

6

Assign

Protect coaches' kids, link siblings, and make any manual moves.

7

Rosters

Every pick lands on that team's roster, and coaches load it into their team.

📋 An evaluation sheet for every coach

After tryouts, the app turns everyone's scores into one sheet per division — ready to print and bring to the draft.

  • The average for each category, plus an overall rating
  • Each coach gets the sheet for their own division
  • Notes, sibling links, and blank "Drafted by" and ✓ columns to mark kids off
  • Sort by tryout number or rating · print it or download it for Excel
Printed evaluation sheet: each player's tryout number, age, average for hitting, pitching, fielding, speed and overall, rating, notes and a Drafted by column

📱 Coaches pick from their phones

When it's a coach's turn, their phone turns green with the clock running. Everyone else sees the board update the moment a pick is made.

  • Available players with tryout number, age, rating and notes, plus search
  • Coaches star kids before their turn — if the clock runs out, the top of their list is picked for them
  • Snake order and a pick clock you set (or no clock at all)
  • The commissioner can pause, undo the last pick, or pick for any team

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Brothers and sisters stay together

Link siblings in the same division and the draft keeps them on the same team — when one is picked, that team can take the other with its next pick (the Little League sibling option) or pass.

  • The app spots possible siblings (same last name, same division) and asks you to link them
  • Protect coaches' kids on their own team before the draft starts
  • Turn the sibling rule off if your league doesn't use it

🏟️ Built for leagues with divisions

Farm, AA, AAA, Majors — or 8U, 10U, 12U. Use whatever names your league uses.

  • Same team names across divisions, made in one step
  • Each division runs its own separate draft
  • Pick each team's coach from the coaches who joined with your league code
  • After the draft: paste your whole schedule, and standings are kept by division

Questions league boards ask

Do all the coaches need to be on their phones?

No. Turn on Draft night mode and one person enters each pick as the coaches call it out, with the big-screen board on a TV or laptop for the room. Coaches can still follow along and keep their lists on their phones if they want.

What if the Wi-Fi drops at the draft?

Print the backup sheet before you start — the ranked player list plus a blank pick grid in your draft order. Keep drafting on paper and enter the picks afterward.

Can we use our own evaluation categories?

Yes. The league admin sets the categories (hitting, pitching, fielding, speed, or your own). Already have scores from last season? Import them with your player list.

Can each division draft on a different night?

Yes. Every division is its own draft with its own pick order, so you can run them on different nights or back-to-back.

Who sees the ratings?

Your league admin and coaches — it's inside your league, not public. The big-screen board starts with ratings hidden, so they're only on the wall if you choose to show them.
