Tournament weekend

Who can still pitch? Know before the next game.

Four games in three days, and the limit covers the whole weekend — not just one game. DiamondKeeper adds up every pitcher across the tournament under your org's rules and shows who's available, who's close, and who's resting.

DiamondKeeper tournament board under USSSA 12U rules: each pitcher marked Available, Resting or Done today, with innings in the last 3 days and what they can still throw today

Three steps, then it keeps itself up to date

Set it up in the dugout before the first game. Every pitch you score after that counts toward the weekend.

1

Create the tournament

Name it, pick the org and age group, and enter your team name.

2

Score your games

Add each game to the tournament and keep score. Pitches and outs count themselves.

3

Check the board

Every pitcher shows Available, Near the limit, Resting or Done today — with the day they're back.

📏 Your org's rules, not one-size-fits-all

Every org counts differently. Pick yours and the board uses its limits.

  • USSSA — counts innings, not pitches (1 out = ⅓ IP): a daily max, a 3-day max, and rest after more than 3 innings in a day
  • Perfect Game (7U–14U) — a daily max in outs or pitches, 24 outs over any 3 days, 2 days rest after more than 3 innings, and an event pitch max. 15U+ and Pitch Smart events use pitch counts with calendar rest days
  • Little League — pitch counts with calendar rest days, one game a day, never 3 days in a row
  • High School (AIA) — pitch counts by class year: 95 a day for freshmen and sophomores, 105 for juniors and seniors, with rest days by pitches thrown. Set each pitcher's year on the board
  • Nations and Custom — start from Pitch Smart, then match your event's posted rules
  • Pick the age group and the limits follow it

🔮 It looks ahead to tomorrow

The weekend is about the next game as much as this one. The board tells you before you make the call.

  • How many innings a pitcher can still throw today
  • "Going over 3 IP today means no pitching tomorrow"
  • "Can't pitch tomorrow" when a kid has pitched 3 days in a row
  • The date a resting pitcher is available again
Board rows: available pitchers with innings left today, a resting pitcher with the date he's back, and a pitcher done for the day

🧢 Built for the dugout

  • Your team only — opponents' pitchers stay off your board
  • USSSA game length set for you: 6 innings for 12U and under, 7 for 13U and up
  • Pitched for another team this week? Log the outside outing
  • Download a pitch-count record for every game
  • It warns — it never blocks. The umpire and your event's posted rules decide
  • Pair it with arm care to see the workload across every team, all season

Questions coaches ask

Which tournament orgs does it support?

USSSA, Perfect Game, Nations, Little League and High School (AIA, Arizona), plus Custom. The presets are starting points — always confirm your event's posted rules.

Does the other team need DiamondKeeper?

No. The board counts your pitchers from the games you score.

Will it stop me from putting a pitcher in?

No. It warns you so you can make the call; the umpire and the tournament rules are the authority.

Is it for baseball?

Yes — the tournament board is built on baseball org rules (USSSA, Perfect Game, Nations, Little League, High School).

Does it work for high school?

Yes. Pick High School (AIA) and set each pitcher's class year — freshmen have a lower rest threshold, and juniors and seniors get the higher daily max. It's built on AIA Article 21.1.5 (Arizona Pitch Smart). Your school's athletic director still enters official pitch counts with the AIA.
