If you're here because you don't want to pay to follow your own kid's season, that's the reason DiamondKeeper exists. Keeping score is free. Watching is free. There's no paywall in front of your kid.
Youth sports apps have settled into a familiar pattern: scorekeeping is free for the coach, and the things families actually want — live video, play-by-play, the box score, season stats — sit behind a paid tier. So the parent in the stands, or the grandparent three states away, ends up paying for the privilege of following a 10-year-old's baseball season.
That's the search that usually brings people here. It's a fair thing to be annoyed about, and it's the specific thing DiamondKeeper was built to not do.
No trial, no expiring promo, no "free for your first five games." This is the permanent arrangement for families:
| Watching a game live | Free |
| Live scoreboard, field view & play-by-play | Free |
| Each game's live box score | Free |
| Season & career stats | Optional add-on — $9.99/season |
| Video stream | Free |
| Creating an account to watch | Not required |
Here's the honest part, because a page claiming everything is free forever with no explanation is a page you shouldn't trust: coaches and leagues can pay for optional extras — the full coaching toolkit, or the league dashboard. That's the business. Scoring a game and watching your kid play are free, and that doesn't change.
Three steps, and two of them aren't really steps.
A share link or a QR code, sent once. Post it in the team chat and it works all season.
No account to create, no password, nothing to buy. It opens in the browser already on your phone.
Live scoreboard, the field with every player by name, play-by-play, box score, and video.
Grandparents can use the same link. So can the aunt who can't make it to the field. There's no per-family account and no seat to buy.
The free-to-watch part is the reason people come. These are the parts built from actually coaching a team.
Game clock, pitch-count compliance with required rest, a pitcher-eligibility list, call review with slow-mo — plus one-tap obstruction, interference and dropped-third-strike calls with a built-in legend. Stuck on a play? Describe it or say it out loud and the app tells you the exact button.
Pool every pitcher's counts across the whole tournament weekend against your org's rules — USSSA, Perfect Game, Nations, Little League — so you know who's still eligible before the next game.
Auto-build a fair rotation that guarantees Little League, PONY, Cal Ripken or Babe Ruth mandatory-play minimums — and flags anything that won't comply.
Go live from a phone in one tap, or a Mevo or OBS camera — straight through your own share link, with no YouTube or Facebook required.
Coaches get fast scoring on any phone, auto-lineups from stats, the rotation builder, and opponent scouting. Leagues get a dashboard for teams, rosters and schedules, standings that update as coaches score, a league-wide pitch-count safety report, and a public branded league page.

Yes. Following your kid's game is free — the live scoreboard, the field view, play-by-play, each game's box score and the video stream. There is no paywall, no trial that expires, and nothing to buy to watch. Full season & career stats are an optional add-on.
No. The coach shares a link or a QR code, you tap it, and you're watching. There's no login to create and no app store involved — it opens in whatever browser is already on your phone.
Your batting stats can come with you. Export your team's stats from GameChanger and import that file into DiamondKeeper — at-bats, hits, runs, RBIs, walks, strikeouts, doubles, triples, home runs and stolen bases come across. Pitching, pitch counts and game-by-game history don't, because GameChanger's export only covers batting. Rosters import in seconds either way. Stat import is a new feature, so keep your exported file and check the numbers once they're in. Full switching guide →
A single team can use DiamondKeeper on its own — your league doesn't have to sign up first. Leagues that do come aboard get a dashboard for teams, rosters, schedules and standings, plus a league-wide pitch-count safety report.
Coaches and leagues do, and only if they want the extras — the full coaching toolkit, or the league dashboard. Keeping score and watching games stay free. We'd rather charge a coach for tools that save time than charge a parent to see their own kid play.
Open DiamondKeeper in any phone browser and add it to your home screen — or reach out about bringing it to your league.
